AYUP represents an emerging artist based in Sheffield UK with work varying from abstract expressionism to socio-political cartoons. A Painter, Printmaker and Illustrator whose interest in art stems from an early age. AYUP developed a personal approach to mark making across all areas of practical artwork, whilst studying at Chesterfield College and in 2004 successfully completed a BTEC Diploma in Foundation Art and Design with Merit. In effect finding a personal style indicating a direction and intent suitable for contribution into degree level study. After a decade of working in a plethora of different jobs and having gained a varied view of work, culture and life AYUP had an epiphany. Rediscovering his artistic nature, his first love at school and his life dream to become an artist. Since that time AYUP has seen an enormous revival in his work and has connected with his inner artist. It was as though he had begun to create all over again and this rekindled enthusiasm for printing, drawing and painting intensified. AYUP has a zest for art and a keenness and eagerness to develop his practice. AYUP remembered that he is an artist and, in this reinvention, AYUP is currently studying for a Bachelor of Arts with Honours Degree in Fine Art at Liverpool Hope University. Commissions are also accepted for specific items such as paintings of any scale or the abstract and animal prints as seen here.
